The world is created and it takes so long that I do some dishes and stuff. We select SNAIL speed which is basically double Marathon! We mostly leave options at their suggested default. There's a whole extra future-tech era or two as well but getting there is mostly theoretical at this point.Īll right! Monarch difficulty, random civ, large world with a map script I haven't tried before called 'Perfect World' which is apparently one of those old world/new world deals. For starters, we begin much earlier in the prehistoric era and have a whole lot of primitive tech tree to traverse before we can begin to dream of stuff such as Agriculture. It's a Civ4/BTS mod which builds further on another huge mod called Rise of Mankind, which adds and reworks tons of stuff. I don't even know if my computer will be able to handle the later stages of the game at all, but then again I don't know if I will survive that far.
